Description

American Apparel is ready for some new talent to join their tight-knit Creative Team.
We are looking for a photographer to focus primarily on studio work for our rapidly evolving online store.
The position is based at our huge and exciting downtown Los Angeles factory.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will:
-have knowledge of general photography & lighting principles, and be very familiar with digital Canon cameras.
-be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
-have great interpersonal skills.
-have great personal style and the ability to style a model head to toe.
-be available to work outside of typical 9-5 hours. Our days range anywhere from 9am to midnight depending on the scope of work to be done.
-be an excellent director (for your models) as well as be ready and able to take direction (from your bosses).
-be open and hungry for constructive creative criticism. We are constantly striving to improve and it isn't uncommon to complete a project, realize it's not good enough and toss it out so we can start over again!
